Yes. Newby teas are made using carefully selected tea leaves, herbs, fruits, and spices.

Our teas do not contain artificial additives. Flavoured teas are created using natural flavouring and high-quality ingredients.

All traditional teas made from the Camellia sinensis plant (black, green, oolong, white tea) contain natural caffeine. Herbal infusions are naturally caffeine-free unless otherwise stated.

Use fresh, filtered water and the appropriate water temperature depending on the tea type. Typically:

  • Black tea: 95–100°C for 3–5 minutes
  • Green tea: 70–80°C for 2–3 minutes
  • Herbal infusions: 95–100°C for 5–7 minutes

A general guideline is 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea per cup (200–250 ml of water). Click here to visit our 'Perfect cup' page.

Many high-quality loose leaf teas can be infused multiple times, particularly green, white, and oolong teas.
