Terroir & Production

The Assam region lies along the fertile valley of the Brahmaputra River in north-eastern India. Here, low elevation, heavy rainfall and mineral-rich alluvial soil create the perfect environment for the Camellia sinensis var. assamica plant to flourish. High humidity and tropical warmth encourage lush growth and full-bodied flavour, producing teas admired around the world for their richness and strength.
